Bible Classes

Our regular Bible classes meet Sunday mornings at 9:30am and Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm. Each class period lasts for 50 minutes. Classes are continuous: the teachers and subjects are the same on Sundays and Wednesdays. Kids are always welcome to join their parents in an adult class, but we do have separate classes for kids age 2 through high school. See below for the topics we’re studying currently!

Preschool (Ages 2-3)

Location: Upstairs
Current topic: Bible stories from the life of Jesus and the book of Acts
Class description: Children learn Bible stories while having fun singing songs, acting out the lesson, playing games, and reading books.

Preschool (Ages 4-5)

Location: Downstairs, off the resource room
Current topic: Bible stories about the early church
Class description: Similar to the 2-3s class, but a bit more advanced. Children learn Bible stories while having fun singing songs, acting out the story, reading books, answering questions about the lesson, playing games, etc.

Primary (Grades K-2)

Location: Upstairs
Current topic: Bible stories about the kings and prophets of Israel and Judah, the Israelites in Babylonian captivity, and the return from Babylonian captivity
Class description: Kids learn and connect with Bible stories told by the teacher. They may read aloud from the Bible, draw, play games, or sing songs.

Intermediate (Grades 3-5)

Location: Upstairs
Current topic: Bible stories about the kings and prophets of Israel and Judah, the Israelites in Babylonian captivity, and the return from Babylonian captivity
Class description: Kids learn about God and the Bible in an engaging way. Classes may include reading, drawing, visual aids, worksheets, prayer, or singing to help kids connect with God.

Middle School (Grades 6-8)

Location: Upstairs
Current topic: the Israelites during Babylonian captivity and the return from captivity
Class description: A serious study of Bible ideas for middle schoolers. Kids are led by their teachers to think about what God is saying in the Bible and how it matters in their lives.

High School (Grades 9-12)

Location: Downstairs
Current topic: The Bible books of 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus
Class description: A serious study of the Bible for high schoolers. Students are led by their teachers to read and think seriously about what God is saying to them and how it matters in their lives.

Adult Class 1

Location: Large upstairs classroom
Current topic: Church discipline
Class description: A study of how the church should respond when someone turns their back on Jesus

Adult Class 2

Location: Main auditorium
Current topic: Romans
Class description: A guided study of the Bible book of Romans
